Meet Our Functional Medicine team

Sheena is the lead functional medicine Doctor for NexGen Health, Birmingham. She has undertaken Functional Medicine training through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

She has been a doctor for over 12 years and has worked as a GP for over 7 years with experience in both the NHS and private sectors.

Sheena qualified from Imperial College, London and also received a 1st class honours in her intercalated BSc in medical sciences with endocrinology. 

Sheena is dedicated to providing holistic and personalised care for her patient using a functional medicine approach by looking at the root cause of symptoms and health problems. She strongly believes that each person is unique in their personal and health goals and through detailed consultations and assessment, an individualised and integrative health approach can be offered.
